Mattapan Station Building is a new building and represents part of an overall renovation of the Red Line trolley station at Mattapan Square in Boston. The station building consists of a 4,268 SF metal-paneled steel-framed two-story structure which houses a dispatcher's office, crew quarters, MBTA police sub-station, public restrooms, automatic fare collection, communications rooms and community meeting space. The nature of the firm's responsibilites were architectural design, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates associated with the building. BWA also played a critical sub-consultant role in public presentation to agencies and community groups. |
